Intimate expression. Privacy at the core. · 18+

Loving while
we live and
while we can.

We’re building a private home for intimate photographs, body-positive nudity and artistic erotica. An invite-only space to be yourself with the people you choose.

Chosen audiences, encrypted storage and models on our own hardware are the foundations we’re building toward. Privacy belongs at every step.

An independent app in development. Enrollment has not opened.

01 / Privacy is the starting point

Intimacy needs
a private home.

Some photographs are only for your people. That choice should shape the whole app—from the server holding the image to the model reviewing it.

For the parts of yourself you’ve kept inside a green circle, we’re building a dedicated space. Invitations and consent are the beginning. Encryption, access controls and local processing belong underneath every interaction.

01 / Audience

You choose
who gets close.

Share with chosen Circles. No public discovery feed. Membership and permission must control access to the photograph itself, including when access is withdrawn.

02 / Storage

Protection beyond
the screen.

Encrypted photo storage, controlled keys and clear retention rules are requirements for member launch. A hidden URL or an invitation alone cannot provide that protection.

03 / Intelligence

Our hardware.
Local models.

Our vision model runs on our own hardware. The intended review stays there: no external AI service, no cloud AI fallback, no training on member photographs. If local review is unavailable, the image waits.

Where we are today

The local model service is running. The app’s upload review is still simulated; encrypted member storage and the protected connection to that model are not complete. This public site accepts no member photographs.

02 / Why Rather Raw exists

Your body is art,
not content.

A raw self-portrait. A nude embrace. A playful moment with someone you love.

We want room for the parts of life that are tender, sensual, unpolished and alive. Room to share your body without shame, to celebrate your relationship, and to feel appreciated as a whole person.

You don’t need to be an artist. Your photograph doesn’t need to earn its place through perfect lighting or a perfect body. Rather Raw is being built for the freedom to express yourself with people you trust.

The purpose is connection and mutual appreciation. Your worth has nothing to do with how much attention a photograph earns.

See how that takes shape in the app

03 / Inside Rather Raw

See each other.
Feel closer.

Introduce yourself. Find your people.
Share something of yourself with them.

Take a look around

The people you love, being themselves.

Photographs and Moments from your Circles, in chronological order. A friend shares a part of themselves. You pause, read their words and let them know what it means to you.

04 / RatherRawJudge

Your photograph.
A considered reading.

An intended private report for the person posting: how the image uses light, framing and intimacy, what the system observes, and where it’s uncertain.

RatherRawJudge is the evaluation system we’re developing around our local model. Separate passes for visual observations, creative interpretation and content boundaries should produce an explanation you can inspect.

Art and erotica can coexist. The report should describe that relationship without grading your body or making artistic merit a requirement for sharing. Consent comes from the people involved; a model cannot establish it from pixels.

In development. The app exposes its demo review details; actual image interpretation and saved author-only reports are still to be built.

05 / Sharing with your people

A moment of you.
Someone who gets it.

A partner’s affection. A friend’s encouragement.
A conversation that brings you closer.

Your people, your Circles.

Close friends who celebrate you. Partners sharing their affection. People who understand your self-expression. Circles bring those relationships into the app, so you choose who you share each photograph with.

Some moments are for now.

Share a 24-hour Moment, keep a post in your Circle, or add a cover that invites a deliberate reveal. Set the pace of what you share.

Let them know you see them.

A few words can make someone feel understood, desired or encouraged. Open comments when you want that conversation, or message someone from a shared Circle. Appreciating one another is part of being here.

A note on control: expiry and removal change access in the app. They cannot erase screenshots or copies someone has already made.

What makes that closeness possible

Trust is earned through connection.

Sharing something intimate asks something of the people who receive it, too.

Ask for consent before you share.

Ask the people pictured before sharing. Respect their boundaries, and the choice to show more, show less or keep something to themselves.

You vouch for the people you invite.

The way in begins with a relationship. An invitation carries the responsibility to care for the space and the people already there.

Your body belongs to you.

The point is the freedom to express yourself and the pleasure of mutual appreciation. You decide what to share, without an obligation to perform or sell access to yourself.

06 / A little clarity

Before you
step inside.

A closer look at the idea,
the app, and where we are.

Who is Rather Raw for?

Adults 18+ who want to share intimate, body-positive photographs and feel closer to the people in their lives. Friends, partners, queer communities, artists and people who have never thought of themselves as artists. All adult bodies, genders and orientations belong.

Is nudity welcome?

Yes. Body-positive nudity, sensual self-expression and artistic erotica are central to the space we’re building. A raw phone photograph belongs alongside a finished portrait; artistic merit is not a condition of belonging. Consent, adult-only participation and clear content boundaries matter.

Do I have to share nude photographs?

No. You choose what you share, and how much of yourself you show. Being here can mean appreciating your friends, responding to a photograph or sharing a moment of affection. You never owe anyone a photograph.

How do invitations work?

Someone already there vouches for you. You introduce yourself, then join the Circles you choose together. Invitations connect membership to human relationships and shared responsibility. Rather Raw is still in development; public member enrollment has not opened.

What does private mean here?

The intended product combines chosen audiences, encrypted storage and evaluation on hardware we control. Authorized server processes would decrypt an image for local review and permitted delivery; the design therefore does not make images readable only on members’ devices. Encryption, protected delivery and the review connection are unfinished, so this preview is not ready to hold intimate member photographs.

Does the AI run locally?

Yes: a vision-language model is running on our own hardware. Local means our server, rather than an AI running on your phone. The app has not yet been connected to it. Our requirement for member review is local processing with no external AI fallback and no use of member photographs for model training.

Who can see a Judge report or review my image?

The intended Judge report belongs to the person posting and is not shown to their Circle. Saved reports and their access controls are still to be implemented. The privacy design also needs narrowly authorized human review when you appeal, and defined handling of required abuse-preservation and reporting cases. Those paths are unfinished and must be explained before member launch.

What happens when I remove a photograph?

Removing access in the app and physically deleting stored copies are different steps. We still need to implement media deletion, key handling and a clear backup-retention policy. A 24-hour Moment expires from its Circle but can remain in the author’s Vault. No app can withdraw a screenshot or copy someone has already made.

Are these real app screens?

Yes. These are screenshots of the working development app. Members and conversations are fictional. The previews use credited licensed photographs alongside generated demo assets; the people pictured are not presented as members. You can explore Home, Visions and the sharing flow above.

Can I upload my own photographs yet?

Not through this public preview. Real photo storage, review, age verification and member protection services are still being completed. The development app uses sample images, so please keep your personal photographs with you for now.

Is this a mobile app?

Rather Raw is being built for the web, with a mobile-first layout and support for adding the app to your home screen. The same experience is designed to work on your phone and your computer. A public launch date has not been announced.

It begins with someone you know

You arrive by invitation,
or not at all.

Someone you trust makes the introduction.
You bring yourself, your boundaries and your care.

We’re still building the app and the services that
intimate sharing needs. Take a look inside.
